IJOOES receives all submissions electronically via OJS-Open Journal Systems. OJS allows for rapid submission of original and revised manuscripts, and facilitates the review process and internal communication between authors, editors and reviewers via a web-based platform. Authors are responsible for obtaining permission to reproduce copyrighted material from other sources. As an author, you are required to secure permission if you want to reproduce any figure, table or extract from the text of another source.

File Format
The papers will be published in PDF format, but authors must submit the final version of the paper in Microsoft Word or Rich Text Format (RTF) formats.

Layout and Style
Authors should follow the template available online (docx, dotx, rtf, LaTex). Please mind following the APA Style 6th edition to format the references and citations.

Quality Control
All submitted manuscripts are peer-reviewed by at least two referees, after initial screening or adherence to author guidelines and content relevance.

Copyright Policy
No claim on copyright is made by the publisher. Authors retain copyright alongside scholarly usage rights and SPOSHO will be granted publishing and distribution rights.

Plagiarism Control
IJOOES does not tolerate any type of plagiarism. Reserves the right to use plagiarism detecting software (Turnitin) to screen submitted manuscripts.

Copyediting Manuscripts
Prior to submission, authors who believe their manuscripts would benefit from professional editing are encouraged to use language-editing and copyediting services. Obtaining this service is responsibility of the authors and should be done before initial submission. These services can be found on the web using search terms like "scientific editing service" or "manuscript editing service".

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • All the authors read and approved the work that is being submitted to IJOOES.
  • The work does not contain any element that could identify the authors' identity.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • DOIs for each reference have been provided. Any available URLs for the references have been disclosed.
  • All illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points with respective captions, assuring adequate quality for reading.
  • Any included material with copyright has been authorized by the owner.
  • The final submission file is in Microsoft Word or RTF document file format.
  • The authors agree to reply to the reviewers' comments and suggestions at the end of each revision round (letter-form).
  • The authors are aware that three requests to major revise the submitted work will lead to a direct rejection of the work.
